A Bit About Us
With our roots in the beautiful Forest-of-Dean, Fathers Shed and FEiRD Furniture, sits right on the borders of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and the stunning Wye Valley and with beautiful un-interupted views across open fields and countryside from our garden workshop, every day is an inspiration!
Having grown up with a passion for Antiques, Interiors, Furnishings and Architecture it seemed set in stone that Jonathan would eventually follow a path into one of these interests as a career, so after working in the upholstery and soft furnishing trade for over 10 years, he took the decision to go solo and established Fathers Shed in the summer of 2008. In early 2010 he joined forces with Andrew Ingram of FEiRD Furniture, a Graphic Designer from Monmouth, to create original peices and re-interpreted vintage items of furniture which is quickly gaining a reputation for originality and style already appearing in some of the glossies!
With all this talent under their wing, Fathers Shed & FEiRD Furniture offer Fixed Top Upholstery, Loose Covers, Cushions and Soft Furnishings and also now Andy’s mum Carol, a qualified curtain & Blind Maker with 40 years experience can also offer a simple Curtain and Blind making service, please contact Andy on feird@fathers-shed for details and Carol will be happy to pop out and see you.

& we can also offer a range of Chenille’s, Velvets & Linens or of course you can provide us with your own material which many people do.
Whichever option you choose, you are guaranteed to receive a truly bespoke Individual finish which will give you as much pleasure in your home as it did us creating it!
